New Managing Director

NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR

Tor Petter Johansen has taken over the position as Managing Director at Davo. He has since November 2008 been working as the Marketing Director and started in the new position April 1 this year.

- I am honored to get this opportunity and believe I can take Davo one step further, states Mr. Johansen. He is optimistic for the company and believes SwimEye™ has a great potential not only in the Scandinavian market but also in the rest of Europe.

HETLANDSHALLEN JOINS THE SWIMEYE™-CLUB

We are very happy to announce that Hetlandshallen in Stavanger has signed up for our security-system. Stavanger kommune - the owner - is now operating two pools with SwimEye™.

Morten Larsen Appointed Business Developer

NEW POSITION FOR MORTEN LARSEN

Our former Sales Manager, Morten Larsen, has now taken over the position as Business Developer at DAVO.

- This is not revolutionary news since I have been involved in new projects the last 18 months, is Morten Larsen's immediately comments about the internal change.

- DAVO has interesting challenges coming up and I want to use my background and experience influencing the company to go into the right direction. Additonally, after several years running the sales department I do look forward to contribute with new ideas and develop the company, says Larsen. He stared in the new position in August 2009 but has at the same time been consulting clients and following-up current projects.

Contract with AquaTec ended

CONTRACT WITH AQUATEC ENDED

DAVO and AquaTec in Denmark have ended its relationship and the distribution contract on SwimEye™ has been cancelled.

- AquaTec did not live up to the obligations in the contract and has lost the right to marketing and sell SwimEye™ in Denmark, Iceland and the Faroe Islands. The contract ceased to exist in November 2009, announced Mr. Sjøflot, the Managing Director.

Aquatec has had the exclusive rights for the SwimEye™-system since April 2007 for the above markets and is responsible for the Kópavogur, Iceland project.

- We find it difficult continue cooperating with a partner that does not comply to our contract and our business ethics. DAVO desire and aspire to be a serious and professional actor in the business will strengthen after this cancellation, concludes Mr. Sjøflot.

Ringeriksbadet reopens with SwimEye. Protection and safety for the swimmers.

Ringeriksbadet opens its doors

October 10, 2010 at 10:00am, with SwimEye™ in the pool!

DAVO AS is going to install and run its swimming pool safety system in another Norwegian pool - Ringeriksbadet. This makes Davo AS to the market-leader in Norway.

- SwimEye™ is now operative in eight pools in our home-market. The sales-figures are of course satisfactory but I am also happy to get such a good feedback from our current clients, says Sales Manager Morten Larsen.

- The SwimEye™-system has been adjusted and improved during the years. It is no doubt that we had some "child illnesses” the first year but the system we are offering today is more or less perfect. The technical solution has been improved and the hardware facilities are better and more user-friendly, comments an eager but humble Larsen.
